Well, I like it. Daft Punk are back with a good release (much better than Discovery imo).
Your opinion?

How can people like Homework? Maybe I don't get it, but it seems like hyper-reptitive, absolutely boring, shite. Apart from one or two tracks, that is. I tried to "feel" it, I tried to "get it", but then I realised that it was absolute shit for the most part. And I like a lot of music.

it´s just a classic record

No, I heard it recently.
But why is it "just a classic record"? Apart from 3 tracks, it all sounds like extreamly repetitive house music. I am willing to be open minded, but some of the tracks on this release really push the limit-especially when an ugly sounding loop repeats for a minute or so, only to be joined by another loop. Ad nauseum.

everything they do is great! it's simple & straighforward. you don't like it brecause you can't be anally retentive about all their noodlings and feel special from the fact you are in some sad clique of musical professors who's job it is to disect each and every beat and figure out the waveform, frequency & amplitude of every single note so you can ridicule anyone else who doesn't "understand" it.

Rubbish.
Maybe I don't like Homework because it's fucking boring? I like plenty of simple, fun music-but not this particularly craptacular release.

homeworks tracks were repetitive because they were all dj dancefloor smashers
discovery was a little different, and more tuned for living room listening as well as the dance floor
the new one is a little more dance floor oriented, but far more repetitive than homewerk was, with less movement and a lot less groove (they could have just released loops)
I don't like the new album...

Daft Punk would be brilliant if they dropped the four to the floor stuff and concentrated on more the more "interesting" side of their sound, their vocal processing is out of this world..
"Digital Love" is one of the best tracks ever until it starts going boom, boom, boom and then I have to switch it off.

"It sucks, I hate it,it's repetitive bladibla" Ever considered it could be because it's only a half-finished album you're listening to? Save the judgements until it's officially released.

well it says enough that those samples they use in their songs make for better songs than the originals. Basically nobody likes the originals they sampled from or go oh hey this song is so much better. So in that perspective, who gives a rat's ass that they've ripped them?
