its easy enough to teach yourself. you could get the basics
in a day.

It's probably easier to handcode in HTML or whatever, I'm
not just saying that as some kind of snob but just those
apps are always a pain.

dreamweaver 4 is great
seemed to get overly complicated after that for my (basic)

Dreamweaver is excellent, you can do pretty much anything
you want to do with it. Personally I hand code just because
I started before Dreamweaver etc. got really good. As
leakage says you can have the basics down in no time at all.

i use dw mx every day.

i don't really use the WYSIWYG stuff, but the code coloring
and code completion is radical. better than anything else
i've tried. and the built in FTP is fantastic.

I like it. Code view is where it's at. Although my knowledge
of code is quite poor.

My site was made with. Not the best example.

I do all my sites in DW4, but they're all just basic HTML. I
would hate to go back to coding in a text editor, too time
consuming.
