Philip K Dick often utilised 4D holographic TV in his books.
That link timed-out two times for me I'm afraid.

It's a strange link as it seems intermittent. I think it was slashdotted yesterday or today....

The website slashdot.org has a high userbase. When they link a site it gets slashdotted becasue of the number of increased hits at once creating a strain on the server. Or something like that anyway.

What's the point of a holographic TV when nobody makes holographic TV programmes?

seems to be more like a 2-D projection unit.
holograms = free floating 3D images.... this isn't free floating and it isn't 3D. I'd like one all the same though :p

I didn't name it just billed it as it was. Still, it's a nice looking TV system and if you use it with those glass speakers you can get it's fucking tasty.
