Anyone heard the new Tori Amos album? I'm just
listening to it for the first time and its already a hell of
a lot better than her last few albums, also the artwork is
back to being good. Only downside is that it could be a
little too long at 19 tracks, i'm only at track 7 so far.
Her voice is much better too, doesn't sound overproduced
like it did on the last album and she sings some parts in a
quirky way like she did in her early albums.

I went off her a little after the last couple of albums cos
they just weren't hitting the spot. You've just inspired me
to take notice of it. Hurrah!

same happened to me too, I wasn't even bothered about the
new album when I heard about it but after seeing the nice
atrwork I though i'd check it out. Glad I gave it a chance,
her singing was way too relaxed on Scarlets Walk, its much
better on this record. She's definately back to her best.

I kind of lost interest after a really dissapointing live
show of hers, I think 1999/2000 and I think that 'Boys for
Pele' was the start of her decline.

I still rate Past the Mission as one of my favorite songs

give the new one a chance then, much better than her recent
efforts.

too many tracks at 19 though, she needs to be a bit more
ruthless in selecting album tracks.

saw her on david letterman on thursday, she still
sounds/looks amazing...
