ok hmm, this COULD be real. i mean you have the atmosphere in the background, the hectic beats on top.
im not saying this HAS to be ae, but it sure sounds like them.
it also sounds more old school like, back to cichlisuite maybe.
so far ive only heard one track LCC, i want to listen to it through.

ok here's a small review. they have backtracked sort of, back to lp5, cichlisuite, but also a little gantz graf thrown in for good measure.
it's more metallic sounding, like confield, the only "organic" track is pro radii, which is awesome.
the whole album is faster paced as well.
now on to the individual tracks:
lcc: it starts out with a hollow, atmospheric low key sound, sddenly a metallic snare starts to beat fast paced, with a brooding "jega - geometry" like mood to it.
more metallic sounds starts to develop over it, and more atmospherics are added.
in the middle of the track suddenly, melodies arise, awesome melodies, out in the open.
full pads aka vletrmx21 come in. it's all very awesome.
ipacial section: starts out with gantz grafish metallic sounds snaring and crackling, in time more elements are added.
a sinewave like synth comes in, and develops a nice melody, which is pretty intense.
then in the middle of the track, an awesome! stuttering sound which is very atmospheric, kinda like fennesz comes in, and builds a melody.
pro radii: heh this track is insane. it starts out with a brooding white noise, then suddenly a beat kind of like skulls beating on wood aka chris clarks empty the bones of you, or xylin room from draft comes in.
then chanting voices, though phased and such come in, and its very intense and awesome.
in the middle of the track the skull beat goes away, and metallic sounds come in once again. the chanting voices continue.
then the skull comes in again, and something that sounds like an organ. and it ends.
augmatic disport: now this is straight from gantz graf. a hyper beat starts it out.
with some of those chanting voices coming in. it builds up an has lots of variation all through. then in the middle, it slows down, and a melody comes in, and the beats sort of go in the background.
iera: starts out with a bine type beat, and it sort of rumbles along.
suddenly brooding synths come in and play somewhat random notes, dark notes so to speak.
it t

fermium: if i may say so a cheesy sound and melody starts it off, it sounds almost like a video game.
more elements are added. this is kind of a weak track imo. although the end is cool.
the trees:
a digital beat for lack of better words starts it off, its kind of funky.
then a funky bass comes in. in the middle it sort of changes, and other elements come in while a moody atmosphere lies underneath.
this is also not the best on the album.
sublimit: simple synth sounds starts off with melodies, and some rattling percussion, metallic.
it gets very funky in there, and it also sounds video gamish.
at around 10:00 the voices begin again, it gets a darker tone.
well all in all im very pleased with this album. it didnt take the turn i thought it would, so it was a pleasant surprise.
im now almost 100% sure it's real, i mean noone could make this stuff but ae.

Haha.. a good point. I'd agree with you for most new releases, although when it comes to Ae I'm a minor league fanboy. I'd buy a CD of Sean and Rob farting Christmas carols if it said 'Autechre' on the cover.
Not so with other IDM artists, this is a special case for me.
