just have witboas and chocolate wheelchair. ive liked them
at the beggining, but i get fast tired of them...
new album sounds nice, and i think im gonna like it more

thats all for now.

It suffers from sounding really rushed. Like he couldn't
wait for everyone to hear it so he put dabs here and there
of overused breaks so it could pass for an album. Sadly not.
The melodies, however he made them, are strong and demand a
strong supporting beat. You usually shouldn't have to look
further than Aaron for beats but these are so lazily
arranged I want to shit. What happened to the hi-speed cuts
that used to make my headspin? 3 releases ago, apparently.

I thought his beats were always too sloppy and too noisy. He
sounded like he was trying too hard to impress people
without actually getting to the rhythm or the music. I have
only heard a couple samples from mu, but they sound great.

offline DJ Xammax from not America on 2005-02-11 19:41 [#01496089]

Being bombarded with beats is what drew me to him in the
first place. Since last year's HCCBU though he seems to have
regressed beat-wise. I'm glad that this album shows a flair
for melody but the beats just don't cut it.

It's not too good. Are these tracks really only about 1-2
mins each? The last one is all bela bartok, I recognize at
least a few short parts of it. Sounds like he just
rearranged other composers stuff and then added some gay
beats in some places.

well anyway the beats isnt what draws me to this album, its
the orchestral moods.
and those are fucking ace.
it doesnt get much better than hiszekeny orchestral wise.

I really worry about you fucking people. This is the aural
equivalent of a turd served up on a plate. The fact that
some people hate him, Nacmat, dosen't make him a genius. It
means a lot of peope wouldn't recognise wanking about with a
sampler with no artistic merit whatsoever, even if it came
violently in their face.

Well, not being 13 and, unfortuantley for Mr A.Funk, having
critical faculties beyond those of a drunken ant, I've never
been able to listen to a whole track. I've tried many times
to hear what allows this man to keep making records, but all
I hear is the sound of any angry, lonley, balding man making
a fucking mess to soundtrack the unfocused rage of
tweenagers. And I don't understand why every review says
"it's still not quite good but it shows promise"... what
other artist gets this kid glove treatment? How many
rim-jobs has this prat done in the industry?

I think I've only heard the track "dance like you're selling
nails" or something.

I don't know, I have no love for the whole "drill"-genre, so
there is nothing within me that wants to hear more of Funk's
music.

I dislike all that spastic percussive stuff. it always
sounds like someone having a seizure right in front of me
right after having had a sip of tea and spraying the
mouthful of tea in my face. and looking all contented with
himself afterwards.

I fucking hate all this spastic percussion/breakcore becuase
it's like saying "I can't play the drums, however what I am
doing is high-art jazz" and then just fucking about for
other talentless nobodies to go "Oooh, great cut up
technique"... I guess those arseholes need a role model, but
don't try and tell people that know shit from shinola that
A-hole Fuck's "music" is anything other than bollocks.
