preorders came with a cd3", I am sure you can still get that
one cos its really excellent

I know xltronic is planning something like this, and thats
great

for the moment we have this one and I really encourage you
to get it, as the music inside is excellent

"internet artists" cos i've never seen you comment on
anybodys work.

on topic: nice teaser. i'd like to get it but can't afford
it.

No, not a CDR, a factory-pressed CD.

Unfortunately, the 3" Bonus Disc Nacmat mentions is no
longer available (limited to 100 copies and given out with
preorders).

However, it might be available as a WDM purchase soon.

Chaosmachine - Incandescent Autumn

ok ...either this is one of the boc guys, or a pretty good
imitator. sounds exactly like boc.

you reckon boc sound is difficult to copy?

maybe not. but would it be as good as the authentic boc?
probably not.

offline AlbertoBalsalm from Reykjavík (Iceland) on 2005-02-09 11:08 [#01492940]
Points: 9459 Status: Lurker

this Chaosmachine sounds really authentic though. sounds
like old classic boc and could fit right into MHRTC. but it
bothers me a little if this isn't boc undar a pseudonym. i
think it's alright if someone's track is influenced by their
favourite artists, but copying it EXACTLY and releasing it
is not something i find respectful. very nice track
nevertheless.

would it blow your mind if i told you i made that track in
fruityloops 4? :) there's no samples, it's all softsynths i
designed.

it was actually an april fools track i made for watmm one
year, but joyrex liked it so much, he added it to the cd. my
story was that i had found this track on a boc mix tape that
i got on ebay..

it was never my intention for this to be anything but a fun
april fools trick. i was getting tired of people comparing
my stuff to boc, so i thought i'd show the world what would
happen if chaosmachine really tried to sound like
boards of canada.

btw, this was a couple months before anyone had heard of 'a
few old tunes'.

if you want to hear what my music normally sounds like, you
can click here.

nice packaging except for the cardboard sleeve.
if theres anything that screams free-cd-with-magazine/promo
cd its a cd coming in a cardboard sleeve.

if there's good response, i'm sure joyrex will be able to
afford even better quality packaging next time around.
