i've never been the sort of person who invests any time at all into decorating their room. so everywhere i've lived, my room has always been totally practical - just everything chaotically coming together as i acquire some random cheap furniture... i don't paint the walls... nothing matches or fits together - everything is just there to satisfy the needs of the living space as quickly and affordably as possible. so when i see a room like yours, i think it looks pretty luxurious. it's obvious that thought went into it. so these threads make me want to clean my room and buy a little plant or something. :) |

haha, oh man..i shall make a non blurry picture. i haven't changed a bit the way my room looks. everything that's there came with the room and im not bothered to change anything. im planing on doing this one day tho..when i'll have the time :D i don't think i've bought a piece of furniture in my whole life..i once paid for half of couch and that was about it i think :) as for plants..buy a cactus, it only needs watering like once in six months :) |

i had 3 cactii once. they died after a month because i injected 10% hydrochloric acid into them to see what would happen they went all yellowish and snotty |

i had a bunch of plants inside over the last winter but they all died except that cactus..it even grew so much i couldn't get it out the door anymore.. |

i've lived in all sorts of places. . . I've had messy rooms, empty rooms, small ones, big ones, stinky ones. . I don't really mind all that much, im always thankfull. the most important thing is to have a roof over your head. :) |

My room is a dump, but I have otherwise clean habits outside it. Of course, I only go in there to sleep, and my dog occasionally sleeps in there as well. |

In my old apartment it was worse, I had flys and maggots in my room, and stank...I didnt clean it for months, and didnt bring out take the garabage.....But when you are an alcoholic and depressed, ayou just dont care about these things |
