well, my line is kind of fucked... uploads suddenly don't work for a period of time, and I'm in one of those periods again... the tech-guys have no explanation, so I'll just have to live with it... |

Current status: 65% of messages are word indexed. It takes ~1GB of our disk space. Search results will show most relevant 50 hits every time. I don't think anyone needs more. |

OK paging is built in. The search app is pretty close to ending. I need a few volunteers to test the thing. Anybody? I need these people to be honest and not giving out their test accounts. one complaint came up already: you can not sort search results by date. Unfortunately this new structure of search makes it very hard to sort by date. I tried, but I was at the same place as before (eg: Mysql puked). Still thinking on turnarounds for this. |

ok one other (unofficial) improvement to search: you can use boolean modes now for example typing +doyobi +live into the search bar will find only topics where both words are included in a message +doyobi -live will result only ones where only doyobi is present but live is not "doyobi live" will result only ones where the 2 words are beside each other etc. help info will be available soon |
