We had to fill out 2 development needs today at work. Needless to say, mine were not accepted and I was told they need to be more business related. Heres the example they gave us: Development Need: What ou would like to do to develop yourself throughout the next year Strategies for Development: How are you going to do this, what tools or resources you may want to use Measurement: How will you know that your development need has been completed, maybe a date, time, class completion, etc --------------------- So we had to turn in 2 responses, here was my rejected ones... 1 Development Need: Enlightenment Strategies for Development: Meditation, Relaxation (includes extra days off), getting rid of worldly possesions. Measurement: A feeling of calmness and joy; being "one" with the universe 2 Development Need: Getting in shape Strategies for Development: Exercise, lift weights, running, scheduling off more time so I can go exercise all day. Measurement: No more beer gut, extra stamina and large muscles |
