I can't talk about themes really, but I could go on and on
about bad video game endings. But, by this time your lungs
would be acheing for air.

I'm referring to the musical score. It's so completely
overblown I feel slightly silly for listening to it :)

Do you mean final fantasy 6 for the snes (which was released
as 3 everywheres else) or final fantasy 3 for the nes?

The only game I ever finished was Dino Crisis 2 and I'm not
sure whether at the end they were trapped in the distant
future with the clone of his dead daughter or just, you
know, it ended.

Summary: Thought provoking.

I don't know what the music was like, sorry.

Interpol is on Conan and boy are they terrible.

With their suits, 3 chords, and singer that sounds like he's
calling a horse race.

now, this is exactly why I bought internet.

Fancy wearing suits! And having three chords, and barking
like you're calling horses! And these people are ON Conan,
presumably the Barbarian. WHAT A FUCKING CHEEK!

I wonder what they're lyrics are like. I rather fear they
might not be top-notch. Oh what a shame.

I agree. No game made me feel as giddy as I did while
playing that game (except for maybe ultima online).

Not if one goes by the fact they're wearing suits, the
fuckholes, who do they think they are? I don't want to hear
any lyrics by any band wearing suits. Don't you realise Kurt
killed himself to free mankind of all this shit, like,
HELLO???

These three chords - is this some sort of joke?

I really can't imagine any group of musicians using their
three chords ON the Barbarian fellow. That's just WRONG.

I can't even begin to speak of the suits for I might start
vomiting blood.

Journey to Silious has an awesome ending theme, almost
ridiculously so. Iiiiiiiiii can't think of any ending themes
that stick out as lame, although Metroid Prime 2- Echoes
comes perilously close.

And man, why did they change Samus' character model from a
hot, dignified, regal MILF to some underage looking anime
babe...

you have wicked taste in videogamemuzak

I couldn't give you an example of a crappy ending theme, but
i was rather miffed to find that the end of "super hang on"
on the mega drive was just this:

And i worked so damn hard. Sob.

didn't make it past the first level. I liked how you could
choose your music on it though.

Yeah, the music thing was a good idea. I never beat it when
i first had a mega drive, but i actually played it through
properly a couple of weeks back on my emulator-thing (no
saves, just passwords) just to see. And that's all i
bloody well get.

"You're the king."

Yeah, that was absolutely ridiculous, because that game is
long as hell.

Halflife 2 takes the cake for me overall, even though the
problem with it wasn't the ending theme music, but more
importantly, every other aspect of the ending.

you're right, it really wasn't all THAT bad, it was just the
fact that I expected so much more that it made it such an
extreme letdown.
