OK, I've searched for a solution to this but I'm either using the wrong search terms or I'm a retard. Probably both.
Every time I put a number into an excel cell it divides it by 100
eg: Put in 43 and the cell displays 0.43
This is on all spreadsheets, new and old. I can't fathom it out either. I'm still searching the microsoft site. If anyone can suggest what the problem could be, beyond my retardedness I'd be most grateful.
Thanks,
giginger

sounds like your default template is fucked. can you run a repair from the office CD (put it in, run repair)?

well the easiest would be to set the cells setting to default :)

try Format, Cells then Number, and set the cell to 'text'

Yes, it sounds like your numbers are set to automatically decimalise.
