Best Bond Film

My personal favourite is OHMSS, although when younger I had
a penchant for parts of Live and Let Die, particuarly the
Coloured Peoples funeral procession.

I dislike the new Bond films, they are bland and uninspired.
The old ones were the best!

the last one i saw was die another day, for the second time.
what a shit movie. it is only build on stupid one-liner
dialogue. bored the crap out of me.

I loved Man with a Golden Gun, Live and Let Die and Spy who
Loved Me. View to a Kill also has its moments.

Goldeneye

I must admit that a lot of the films merge into one and I've
no idea which one is which! :D I intend to buy a couple on
DVD, but I'm not sure which - OHMSS definately, of course!

I think we can safely say that Lazenby and Connery were the
finest Bonds.

Incidentally, the order of the novels is:

Casino Royale
Live and Let Die
Moonraker
Diamonds are Forever
From Russia with Love
Dr No
Goldfinger
For Your Eyes Only
Thunderball
The Spy Who Loved Me
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
You Only Live Twice
The Man with the Golden Gun
Octopussy/The Living Daylights

All were written within a 12-year period.

Hello, Sean - Yes, Peter Sellers is in that awful mess,
which, incidentally, he ruined. He was to blame for it.

they seem to merge into one :)

foreigner saving the world. This isnt a joke.

Goldfinger or From Russia with Love. No. Really, any of
those early Connery Bonds. They were so swingin'. They've
lost a lot of ''om-bee-yonce'' over the years.

i like the one when he unbelievably doesn't get shot by the
baddie who for some reason decides to wait a few more
seconds just to tell him what he was going to do before he
does it, then by some amazing co-incidence in those few
seconds the baddie gets eaten/burnt/falls backwards over a
cliff/the gun shoots the wrong way/the baddie's jaw is made
of metal and a switch is flicked so he gets stuck to an
amazingly powerful magent...

My favourite Bond movie is Moonraker. Daft, but
fantastically entertaining.

Overall, I prefer the Brosnan ones to the rest though.

I've only seen bond films in like 20 second increments
without sound, and I'd have to say my favorite is moonraker,
because there's nothing it doesn't have..

laser fight in space - check
free-fall action scene - check
gondola chase scene in venice - check
gondola chase scene in a island resort - check
bird hunting on a mansion estate - check
jaws and his girlfriend - check
speedboat chase - check
wild west scene - check
ninja attack - check

the new ones with Brosnan are terrible, although Goldeney is
the least worst out of those.

Spy Who Loved me and From Russia With Love are my
favourites.

I really couldn't care less if they never make another one,
the new ones are no different to any other hollywood
blockbuster :(

I'd say the Sean Connery films are the best ones.

I thought Live and Let Die was humourous. The Guns & Roses
trac in it was pretty cool though.

Goldeneye was probably the best Bond flick from the '90s,
but all the ones after Goldeneye kind of went downhill from
there.

i haven't really seen many james bond films, but i like
goldeneye, which i saw AFTER playing the game for years and
years, so i thought it was interesting to see how it was
made into the game.

Guns and Roses track?

do you mean The Wings (of Paul McCartney-fame) track "live
and let die" which was later covered by Guns & Roses?

if so, shame on you! :P

The game Goldeneye 007 was spectacular. I remember playing
it literally every day when I was 13.

Yeah it was interesting watching the movie after playing the
game, like how the scenes corresponded with the game's
levels.

i loved that one where some woman is trying to kill bond but
they end up having sex and she falls madly in love with him,
but by the next film she's nowhere to be seen, almost as if
bond kills 'em off between films...
