allright i tried searching, and i may be totally out of the loop. as i understand it, "analord 10" is now in the hands of some people as vinyl only and it is 3 tracks. i wanted to hear what it sounds like so did a search on soulseek. i found something listed as "aphex twin - analord 9" 7 tracks, so far i have gotten 4. i was thinking itd be some other shit mislabeled, it does sound very aphex like, maybe something old but it sounds druqks like. and i really like it. the same guy also has "analord 10" three tracks, the last two labeled "live" and "ed." sorry if this has been discussed before and im just around too infrequently to have seen it. also whats with all the vibert analord tracks? |

yes they do sound a lot like afx like if i heard them out of the blue i would be like 'is this some post drukqs afx" i can put the tracks ive downloaded on a server for you if you want to take a listen. do you have analord 10? maybe you can tell me what you think although i suppose theres no reason 9 would sound like 10 |

the real analord 10's are in 192 kbps and have artwork pics inside them (if you're using iTunes you'll know what i mean) analord 9: haven't heard them, but they're fake, so i don't have to ;d |

how do you know theyre fake? i mean it would be strange if it has been gotten out somehow, but assuming the possibility exists that the next release may be 9, it wouldnt be that hard to believe that somehow it got leaked. just listen to this first track? |

because all leaked analords were (too) obviously fake (until #10 actually was released) but in all honesty, im not bothered. perhaps someone else can have a listen for you. or you could send a message to the person distributing them. if he's not a real shithead he'll tell you those tracks are fake if you like the tracks, you like the tracks |

yeah i know, but then it makes it maybe even wierder, if someone was like "oh ill make a bunch of fake aphex-sounding tracks to fool people" why would they put do 9? i guess its more likely that these are tracks taken from somewhere else rather then ones that someone created as a hoax. but then where are they from? and why do they sound so much like aphex? these are questions i dont have answers to |

There's a possibility that one of the analords is double vinyl as there's 12 slots in teh binder. That's going by the thinking that 10 is last in the series. |

interesting people; remember though that theres no evidence to support that there will only be 10 analords, or indeed that many! From watmm: Analord 1&2 come out January 25th and contain quite a few more tracks. The exclusive binder that comes with Analord 10 can hold several other volumes of the Analord series. Analord 10 will be made available mid-year as a regular release. It is unknown if the tracks will be the same or not. |

analord9 is most definitely not aphex...i would burn all of his albums if that crap was his. for now only 1,2 & 10 came out, and there are samples of 3,4 up. |
