How about:

Are there any plans for samples on the site at all? Or is
this entire thing just a bigass wait and see?

I am now seriously considering buying Analord 10 (if it's
still available?, is it?) having heard the news that there
could in fact well be more than 10 Analords to play with.
Should I?

Another question: please can you clear it up once and for
all. Are the Analord records under the aliase 'Aphex Twin'
or 'AFX'. It says 'Aphex Twin' on the Analord 10 record
label.

...aphex twin. not AFX :) AFX is on his way to produce
special edition and rare mixes of "ktpa" series. first track
is called "ktpa10" and is only audiophile 250g
superultraheavyweight vinyl pressed on the moon. It will be
out soon. Limited edition only, 100£ for 12" with one 3
seconds track playing both sides.

I am politely asking my lord to gimme some anal.

Real Question: What will be your reaction to people sharing
the analord series over the internet? As I can see this
happening as many people won't be able to listen to the LPs.

###1.0
So, we know there will be a Analord 10, 1, and 2 so far.

##
We know Analord 10 will be premium vinyl only (correct? or
will there be a CD released later in future)

##
We know that Analord 1 & 2 will be released soon,
together??? and that they will be on CD. Will they be on
vinyl as well?

##
Does the Analord binder hold vinyl only? or CDs as well.

##
Does the sequence have any relevance?

##
good day.

Erase all the mentions of "CD" in your post and you might
have a decent recap of this thread.

How would you say, in your personal opinion, Analord should
be best experienced? I.e., headphones vs loud banging
stereo......listening atmosphere? In your own opinion.

well, i think they only said no cd because they want to sell
as much vinyl as possible first...they know cds are selling
the best so im sure they'll put it out on cds as well..if
not, well, then cdrs seems like an good option :)

Q's for Grant:

Any scheduled release dates for Analord 3-9?

Any plans for analords 11+?

Are all the tracks finished- just waiting for the
"releasing" schedule to catch up?

What have the responses been like from those wo've heard
them? What about your own opinion?

What's the best way of describing the tracks in purely
factual terms? E.g. Downtempo Acid, with acoustic elements
and classic drum machines, etc

Has Richard expressed an interest in continuing in this sort
of music, or is the Analord series a "one off" trip to the
old school?

Any remixes of existing aphex tracks, or use of already used
aphex samples (Astroblaster, Fantasia, etc.) in the tracks?

What's the total number of tracks in the whole
series?

More for the board than Grant:

How did I miss this topic? (Please Pin)

Why are so many people re-asking questions that have already
been answered earlier in the thread? (People, read the
thread before posting questions!)

erm...analord 10 -with big boxset- is it 33rpm or 45rpm?
(i"ve got 2 turntables but my "audiophile one" only plays

also, if rephlex HQ still has any lenght after the analord
campaign, please convince aphex to release more noise

lol.

But technically after Ceri's questions what else is there to
ask? Wouldnt that cover absolutely everything that is
essential?

Things that arent covered (that really dont matter):

1. Is this going to be pressed on colored, clear or black
vinyl

2. Who did the art work.

3. Why were those track names chosen

4. Will richard do any collab work with aleksi

5. Do you think the inital vinyl release hurts sales? Based
on the fact that a number of people dont have equipment to
play vinyl and yet would like to hear the release. Knowing
that they will most likely utilize slsk to seek an answer to
the question "is it worth the $" and then potentially not
buy it as they will have over played it by the time of an
alternative release (CD, TAPE, Hologram)

6. Why the mystery around this release?

7. Will i find it at bestbuy in 2 years?

8. Any plans for another Mike & Rich
