Happy

"I flew from Spain to NYC to work on this record due to most
of my collaborators being NYC based or at least in the
area... and the record itself took a lot longer than I ever
imagined .. right now I'm on a plane back to my home in
Barcelona and will get the fuck out of this crumbling
country."

hmmm, I really hope there isn't much rapping on it...

I hope that it will be heavily laden with MC's (which seems
to be the case)

i'd be happy if he did another Aesop Rock or DOOM collab.

I would like an album closer to the first... but with some
more ambient stuff. More vocal chopping please...

prefuse is some of the only stuff in my collection that i
would readily sell. it just seemed to get old quick.

I thought the "HideYaFace" remix by El-P was just okay.
Really don't dig the rapping much. Hopefully the original
and the album is better than that.

Its kinda cruising around music... something good when you
have people over that don't really understand IDM or
glitch.
Kinda more consistant crowdpleaser music than something you
can sit there and listen to to figure out how it works.

Its good for what it is... but nothing much more. I was
kinda hoping for what RJD2 pulled off with the second
prefuse album... a hiphop masterpiece, but instead it was
filler.

just the opposite, imo... it was One Word Extinguisher that
was the still on the next-tip and yet vaguely connected to
the fashionable electro-retro that was two years ago...
here's hoping he keeps pushing forwerd.... pardon the
nonsense, i've sake and marjuan in my system... go prefuse!

go rjd2!

prefuse can go too if he wants to....

i never really gave the rjd2 album a chance... i kind of
just assumed it would have a case of private-pressitis...
maybe i should actually give it a listen...

I donno. Its one of the few masterpieces I have heard in the
past couple years... only one song he could have done
without on that album. Pretty much the entire thing sounds
timeless, yet new.

Since We Last Spoke? If you are referring to that album,
then yes.

I'm actually hoping for the opposite, so I like the the
whole mention of "collaborators." While I'd certainly enjoy
another album similar to his first, which had very little
actual rapping on it, (though lots of chopped up rapping)
I'd be interested to really hear how his stuff would work
with rappers, as I've only heard a few songs that include
rappers. I think I'm with the stoner on this one, though I
think Doom's done enough stuff lately.

New prefuse will be nice, i am looking forward to seeing
what he did with four tet. New four tet would also be good.

But it's the new boc which i am most interested in.

status than Analord :)

You mean for next year? Infolepsy is old news!

There's Winnepeg is a Frozen Shithole EP in about 2 weeks.
Then, and most excitingly, one with a Hungarian name in
march which looks amazing. In June, Meathole, which will be
hard stuff again. Hungarian one is the one to watch!!!

if BoC actually put down the pipe long enough to deliver..

prefuse is good, looking forward to this. not something i'd
buy, unless i heard it and enjoyed it a lot. i like his
work, but a lot of it is too similar.
