After copying my friend's copy of this to mp3 (and ripping
the vobs but never getting around to divxing them) i went
out yesterday and bought the real thing (partly with some
tower records vouchers). Full price was €26 which is
bloody cheep considering what you're getting; i'd expected
warp to be raping me for cash but it was a nice surprise.

Definitely one of the most amazing mixes i've ever come
across - especially the windowlicker remix and avril 14th
and squarepusher sections and and and and.. it's all so
perfect

can't believe i didn't know about this gem for so long.

i must've had my head stuck up my arse or something.
there've been whole months when i've neglected to visit this
board though; that's the way it goes.

by the way, great performance on the cut! i love the
netherlands accent & humour, listening to it is almost like
talking to my friends from dordrecht whom i met up with this
summer. "the (h)our cut" :D:D

really enjoyed it. you two make a deadly team. any chance
you'd consider doing something like this regularly?

I tried to listen to the mix CD 2x. It's a piece of fucking
shit. It makes me angry as well; stupid pretentious
bullshit.

Yes this mix is very entertaining. The mixing seems very
germanically-timed. I think they cut out parts of songs, and
re-arranged them in live or something. They sound like
re-edits is what I'm trying to say.

I expected someone to be able to do something decent with so
much good music. It just sounded to me like a bunch of shit
literally thrown into a sound editor, spread across 70
mintues, and saved.

because that is precisely what that shiteful disc is.

I'm glad I bought the DVD though; you?

hahaha BOLLOCKS.

and pretentious? really don't see where you're pulling that
out of.

if anything it's the complete opposite of pretentious - take
the windowlicker remix for example, the lead-up to
windowlicker's most challenging section (to the untrained
ear) is reworked and remixed into a rhythm i'm sure would be
perfectly accessible to anybody

"most challenging section"
haha. sounds like work.

The DVDs are good. Alot of the videos that I liked most were
by peeps I've never heard of, which was a pleasant surprise.
