Well as it forms part of explorer it's never really removed
but you can 'pretend' to uninstall it through Add/Remove
Windows Components.

Well I have two machines with it on and it's certainly
faster on the one that I did this to. That said this is an
AMD64 and the other is a Laptop PIII..

doesn't seem to do much here. i've read threads that suggest

might the 30 requests hog ur bandwidth a bit? I lowered mine
