Heh.... ralph klein (premier of alberta, the wealthiest
province in canada) is putting considerable political weight
against the issue of gay marriage. So far 7 out of 13
provinces and states have legalized it, and more are to
come. Fundamentalist reactionaries are getting scared.

not all 100%, but for the most part it is accurate when
speaking about the area i am from, except for the gun
ownership and gun-sports deal. not too huge in my city of
110,000.

lots of nice socialists (new democratic party, ndp) and
liberals, but many scary conservatives and christian
heritage party members as well.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing joints we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

*sits down and waits for the Hockey to start*

I always thought Canada was a joke, you know, like Alice's
Wonderland, but less wonderous.

Canada is becoming more culturally and politically diverse.
Toronto is the most multicultural city on earth. Alas, many
people think that we are all caucasian moose-hunters.

they tend to congregate around the kebab shop

I am really glad that Canada has taken a stance against some
American policies. Canada will become an economic powerhouse
within our life time due to the large amount of natural
resorces. We need to start a more positive immigration
policy for this to happen as our population growth is
stagnant.

Come to Canada it is fantastic

i wouldn't mind living somewhere in the far north...in some
idilic cabin in the woods, near a river/lake, beautiful
wildlife,..

ok, back to reality.

Canada really ought to lift that soul embargo though.
Outside of Rhemy Shand, yer all a little on the white bread
side.
