That card looks sweet. Good specs. Ask yourself if you
really need 8 x 8 analog I/Os first tho.

Avatar size limit 40 kb ??? I thought it was 12 ?

I have an Audophile external soundcard, from M-Audio.

I'm very pleased with that, they seem to make some pretty
high quality gear.

hmm.. it seems weird somehow... normally, in new cards,
there'd be some external thing, and not just a split wire...
also, which microphone will you be recording with? if it
requires phantom power, you should not get this card.

i got the audiophile 24/96 i think it's pretty much the
same card exept for the amount of I/O

so all i can say, m-audio gear seem to work exellent on my
computer, i got a midi keyboard from m-audio too and it also
works very well.

I really dont think you will be dissapointed at all, you
sort of get what you pay for.. or you get more then what you
pay for as m-audio is often quite cheap.

I should say, what you see is what you get in this case, it
has everything listed on the back of the package and all
that works well (wich is not allways too obvious)

good lucks
