When that synthesized moan kicks in, I can't help but go shivery. Then all that weird, visual-on-the-pc-screen stuff comes in, it's so scary. How the hell did he made that little whimper? And those 'szzzzzzzzooooppp!', 'poiiioooongggggg', 'ooooiiiiisszzzzooohhhppp!' things at the start of the section... weird stuff. Does the title mean anything, like the formula to make the song??

I wonder why the Windowlicker EP design is unfinnished looking? Look on the back: it says 'Warp Records Logo'.

I heard somewhere it was an equation to compute a fractal similar to richard's face. You could possibly try it with 'chaose pro' but I dunno.
And yes, the equation song gives ME the shits too.

Excellent, that's certainly something to try out. Anyone noticed the voice sounds are also used in a few tracks on Drukqs?

Actually the last voice right before the guitar shit kicks in is saying f-f-f-f-fuckfuckfuckfuck
And is the same sample used in 54 Cymru beats, but the f is cut off int 54.

(equation) is crazy, I picture myself in digital playing basketball with RDJ. What really interesting about this song is that there is a hidden picture with it. I don't quite know where to find this on the net, but it's here on Aphextwin.nu

.... not that crazy actually. if you get a program called Coagula, you can scann a picture (the cover of ICBYD in this case), and save it as a wav file. The hard part is getting all the pitches in the song to match, so you have to play around with the settings of the software a little.
anyway, goodnight.

I think the face in the track is the scary and quite frankly nightmare inducing face on Come To Daddy video... christ it's abnormal.... on the tv screen, all weird looking. Makes equation really shivery now!! But still an excellent track, the entire thing run thru a noise remover.

Depends how you look at it. Maybe you could see it as a progression of the song or a self reference. Or maybe I'm reading too much into this.

kid606 - eqn song - brotham states. It worked unbelievably!
* 'acccidently'? - my earphones fucked up * did i keep the beats - oh yes Ever get stoned and just KNOW this crazy record will go with that crazy record?..sometimes you just get in the braindance zone!

yesterday I was fiddling my AN1x synth and I got a voice-like sound like used in some aphex songs
sounded "uwwraawruaaawrr"
i can't remember the exact settings, but a lot of these rare effects can be made by FM-synthesis and using s/h in stead of the normal sine-wave for modulation through an LFO
