Sorry, but I really like Coronation Street these days.

Sure, it's no Twin Peaks, but as far as soaps go, it's just
really jolly and well written IMHO. Well, it's a lot more
exciting (and less depressing) the Eastenders at least.

Especially the whole buisiness with that bitch miya who is
blowing up all of Dev's Corner shops and trying to murder
him and his wife.

*runs away for cover*

I don't watch soaps but I have to agree with you there,
Eastenders is terrible, I can't believe poeple watch that
manipulative, depressing bollocks. Don't even get me started
about there supposedly 'Christmas Special' episode on
Christmass day...

deirdre's mother blanche is brilliant. she makes me laugh
everytime i see her. and see looks just like skinners mother
in the simpsons. and of course there's fred "clockwork
orange" elliott...

Coranation Street - Kicks Arse, with all the tits and
explosions, hostage taking and general northern antics.

Eastenders sucks - the Moon Family say the word 'Darling' at
least 40 times per episode, it drives me nuts. That kate
bird from byker grove is nice tho.

I don't know... think of some really depressing scenario's.

I'll repeat what i've said before whenever a topic about
soaps comes up, that Eastenders shouldn't be shown before
the 9pm watershed. It has worse violence (physical and
emotional) than some films shown in the middle of the night.

Well, coronation street can be just as dark as eastenders
when it wants to be, but it's far better paced and more
entertaining.

It's weird, my favorite movie ever is Mulholland Drive but I
love coronation street, an paradox of sorts....Or something.
