ok i'm gonna do this by artists i like that have released on each label warp----- autechre, boc, squarepusher, aphex, two lone swordsmen, richard devine, lfo, plaid, luke vibert rephlex----- aphex, squarepusher, luke vibert (yes i'm counting them for both) mu-ziq, dmx krew, bogdan raczynski, ovuca, global goon, cylob, the railway raver, the gentle people, the bug.... shall i stop? verdict, warp ok, they were the original, but rephlex have a better back catalogue |

i think warp have more to live up to so you kinda don't give em the credit they deserve, but when you look back to thier roots and how far they've come, i don't think rephlex could (or want to) achieve that commercial viability whilst maintaining thier underground roots (thats debatable, both whether they have maintained their underground roots, or commercial viability) |

i voted Warp simply 'cos I think their releases are better. i liked rephlex very much some year ago, now i find their releases pretty boring. at this moment SKAM is better than REPHLEX, imo. |

unfortunately i was too busy in my job, lucky you that have so many free time to spend in a day. anyway, i repear for the 100 time, that i made easy polls for everybody, so i choose more popular artists, labels, etc... if i would write a poll about Nature Records vs Hymen recors probably we should have just 30/40 votes in a week and it wouldn't be funny. |
