some Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O.
(obviously... ^^ the music is quite spacey/trippy, almost
psychedelic noise sometimes)

some Bola (the whole Fyuti album sounds spacey to me)

some (late period) The Young Gods... (they have some tracks
titled "Kissing The Sun", "Moon Revolutions", "Astronomic"
etc. and it feels spacey too - i recommend off the albums
Only Heaven and Second Nature, you might want to check their
latest one Music For Artificial Clouds out as well but it's
very very different (ambient))

some Fluke also comes to my mind. "My Spine" is the first
that comes to my mind (my feet don't touch the ground...),
but several tracks would fit.

mappatazee has the best reccomendations:

aphex twin - [tassles]

bola - pae paoe (maybe if you can stand something a little
corny but good anyways)

stars of the lid - central texas

3. strauss - also sprach zarathrustra (2001 theme)

that, of course, was written as a musical interpretation of
nietzsche's work, which didn't deal much with space.

but --- the most obvious choice is of course:

holst -- the planets

also kraftwerk -- spacelab

i have a good reccomendation too.

to use 'also sprach zarathustra' is a bit obvious, so if you
replace it with the first track on this you're
gonna rock the show.
