use it as a drive, i mean
actually, coding some files into those spectrum zx like blips and then putting it on tape isnt such a bad idea at all!

i used to have a TRS-80 that used standard audio cassettes to store data.
and, there are still tape backup systems... although, most of them are quite a bit more expensive than this.
i'll bet there are 3rd party apps that will allow you to do it with cheaper equipment.

yeah ive been looking for something that puts binary into a wav file so i could play that into my cassette deck. theres already a record player and a tape deck hooked up to my computer
too bad i couldnt find anything
but
a new day starts today!
