I think horsefactory said it best. mods only seem to drop in quite arbitrarily these days, closing one thread, leaving others open, banning a person for a silly thing, letting other things slip. ofcourse you can't moderate everything, but it has just become absurd now. the only mods who visit the board regularly these days are phobia, ophecks and xceque. it was just a silly joke-account, a really obvious one. this reminds me of when marlowe made his marlowe is dead account - very obvious and silly. the "marlowe is dead" account was closed and that was it, nothing happened to marlowe's account. and I thought that was quite right - can't people take a joke? I mean, why hasn't monoid been banned? I'm not saying he should be, but I can't see how he can get away with saying shit in the past, but this is taken up so badly. dog_belch is a much liked member of this board, who contributes not just a sparkling personality and the ability to projectile vomit witty remarks, but he also contributed to the board in a very constructive way, bringing along a lot of musical knowledge. |

" i totally agree with that. i don't have an opinion on whether dog_belch should be unbanned, but i am sick of all these trollish multiple accounts lately (including those with pubic avatars). it's the main rule of the board - don't do it and you won't be banned. really, a new moderator who actually visits the board should be appointed. |
