I trust you guys with almost anything,and the power of ur knowledge if great..so even tho i havent been on here in ages... please give me some advice as i love u all .. i am at my mates house, they have some shrooms,and have taken them and seem fine but i want to be feel informed before taking any as it is my first time, and as i know alot of you on here do drugs too. i figured you cud advise me :D spill ur words of wisdom -A- |

Yeah, make sure you don't take a large amount for the first go. The first time I did them I ate 30 grammes and my brain was rubbished for a while afterwards. I don't know, I'd say you shouldn't think about/debate it too much, just try to relax and have a good time! |

jus have fun and go with the flow. 1g is not nearly enough even for a first time. i'd say 2g(dry) first. and i'd recommend leaving the bud and beer alone on your first trip. |

Hello, it depends what kind of mushrooms these fiends are feeding you. I took 1g of mexican shrooms on my first trip and that was just enough to make me totally euphoric and giddy as a school girl. I prefer this over an intense trip. If you take something like hawaain mushrooms (or large quantities of mexicanos) the trip can get quite intense and it can dig quite deep into your psyche. Have fun. Try not to stay cooped up indoors for too long as it can get clausterphobic, get some fresh air and explore your local area (unless you live in the city it is best advised to stay indoors), also stay away from casinos, arcades and 7/11's. |

i've done a LOT of shrooms....and after I collapsed in cramps, and in a later trip had a 4 hour downer, I kinda stopped that... It's good for laughs and good feelings, but beware of the amount. Too little can give you a downer 'cause you expect something. And too much can pull you into thoughts you never imagined possible. |

thank god, I thought I was going to have to be the one to explain that the quality of the shrooms dictates how many you should take. Anon: Personally, I find that marijuana goes hand in hand with shrooms and would not even considering doing shrooms without some weed. The reason is because shrooms have a tendency to cause upset stomach, which weed corrects instantly, and the high from weed really helps to get the shrooms going, or at the very least, kill the time in the hour you'll spend waiting for them to hit you. Last time I took shrooms they were ground up and I drank them in orange juice... and we were tripping balls in 15 minutes so how you take them affects how fast they hit you, as does your metabolism and the type of shrooms you eat. |

Most people in britain (e.g. anon) either encounter mexicans or self-picked liberty caps. Dunno about others, but i was talking mexicans, i.e. cubensis. I suppose i should've said. Most people i know get mexican shrooms fresh from the local headshop, and from what i've had, they're all of pretty much the same strenghth. I'd say that hawaiian and thai strains are MUCH trippier though, be careful with them. 10g mexican and 10g thai are A LOT different. Personally, i like truffles more than anything else, the trip is a lot easier to control, more thinky-pretty and less weirdy-scary. |
