well, the Belgian magazine "PC Gameplay" which was one of the first to have a review of the complete game, says the minimum specs are: P4 1.2 GHz, 256 Mb, DX7 3D card which isn't that bad, really. the favoured specs, though, are: P4 2.4 GHz, 512 Mb, 128Mb DX9 3D card |

The specs are damn decent considering. The game really scales well. Counter-strike: Source runs perfectly on my machine. I'm averaging about 50fps in most levels. Admittedly I've done some autoexec.cfg fiddling as I need to optimise my system somewhat. I think a format would not be out of the question. Can't afford a new grahpics card though. Getting a new car. |

I believe you can only buy bronze and gold in box-form. so you'll have to buy the expensive box if you want HL: Source. I'm not sure on this though..! |

There's two boxed versions: Normal 6 CD version or the DVD Collectors Edtition. Then you have the 3 version on Steam. Geeks like me got gold/. Check steampowered.com for the details yo! |

what kind of minimum specs are required for this game?? half-life was probably one of the top 3 games I've ever played.. but I rarely get into computer games because they require a system overhaul or a new comp. alltogether.. I have like 1.6 ghz pentium 4 1 GB Ram.. the video card that came with my computer in 2002.. |
