this is an article on BBC about karen mccomb's experiments
dealing with elephant memories. The fact that elephants have
amazing memories (that in certain ways far surpasses our own
memories) has been know for a very long time from both
anecdotal and observational evidence.

The article doesn't say that at all. Did you just pull that

I was worried that ChildrenTalking had learnt to type a
coherent post, but then I found it was copied from the
Elephant Information Repository, so everything's ok again with the world.

Heh, I thought so. Starts out with an uncapitalized
sentence, and then switches and ends off with "from both
anecdotal and observational evidence."
Yeah right.
