is there any way to convert an .mov file into a format that
will allow me to create a burnable DVD?

i thought DVDdecrypter would do that, but it looks
like it will only burn from DVD image files.

is there any way to create an image file from a .mov?

any help would be gayly appreciated!

well, i found UltraISO, which looks like a pretty
awesome piece of software. And it can do just what i need
it to.

but, the trial version won't create ISOs from .mov files
over 350MB.

anyone know of a freeware program? it'd be really awesome
if you did.

i'm going to if there's not freeware that'll do what I need.
However, if there's freeware that'll fit the bill, then
there's no reason to pay for this.

yeah, but i was unable to find anything extremely helpful.

I ended up using TMPGEnc plus to recode the .mov into an
MPEG-2. Then TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert that to .vob files.

They're not free, but both have fully funtional trial
periods.

I'll let you guys know if it works.
