yes, Audition was the first film I have seen by him and its
still my favourite work of his. His other films are good but
not quite on the same level.

I read an article about him. It had a screen from a movie

interesting, i think Bizita Q (Visitor Q) is his best film.
from what a friend told me though, Gozu is likely to beat
it. whether you like his work or not, you are pretty much
guaranteed to see something you've never seen before when
watching his films.
