ableton live.

LAZY_TITLE

i'm hosting it from my laptop so the link may only be up for
a little while. get it while it's hot!

Interesting... I quite enjoyed the mash up style but i don't
think it really counts as a remix. Some of the stuff you did
was nice.

: )

haha. c'mon, cut me some slack ehy? i figured it would be a
good way to explore the different things you can do in live.
i had a blast and i think it sounds pretty nice if i do say
so myself. :)

Would sound good if you were doing a laptop set mixing live.
Which I think you should attempt :)

well, imho it's better than the "acid edit" on 26 mixes :)

cool! :)

i'm in a foul mood really so i was maybe a tad blunt. this
is mostly why i never "review" tracks on here.

interesting idea giginger... hm i wonder what would happen
if i tried doing something similar to my own tunes?

sounds good, im liking it. it would sound better if there
was more transition between parts, it sounds a bit too loopy
when you go from say the initial beat to the singing. other
than that, good work.

I'm not being mean but I like Windowlicker as it is, the
"Acid remix" was a kick enough in the crotch, so I am not
going to chance this, )'m sure it's great though.

The only revision of this track I'd like to hear would be an
acoustic one.

do you often skip things you're "sure are great"?

just curious.

I had a few at lunch, and after. and I don't know what we're
on about now. But why do people insist on remixing Aphex
legends like Windowlicker or Mt St Michael Marks & Spencers?
Why can't they remix tracks like ktpa2 which NEED remixing?

offline jkd from Twitch City (Canada) on 2004-10-03 17:14 [#01352076]

:P actually dog_belch i'm not trying to improve upon
windowlicker or anything like that. it was just an
experiment in using ableton live to do lots of effects. i'm
not pretending like i'm better than aphex... it was just for
fun. i dare you to download it and give her a listen. who
knows you might enjoy it.

double dog dare

Ok I will give it a go. I wasn't saying you were trying to
be better and you know, go for it with the old ableton, plus
I have heard a couple of your tracks and they're very good.
I just worry when people tackling things that are pretty
much universally agreed upon to be "ok as they are". I know
it's "just fo fun" as well so I'll just shut up.

*Listening* Well it's better than the Acid Remix.

Do you think that if i recored myself farting in the bath it
would be better than the acid remix?
