He is also featured on the Morr compilation "Blue Skied an'Clear" which are both great tracks! You should also download his free tracks I agree Schnauss is very underrated here. He is one of the best in melodic feel-good electronic music around. |

yeah, not one topic about him :( his album Far Away trains is also really beautiful. I havent heard one single bad track from him so far. If yall want a sample of how good he is...listen to his track "Monday Paracetamol", download it from whatever and after that, go cop the album :) |

yeah his album a strangely.. is fantastic, I like it better than his first too. I think his new one will be great, ulrich getting better and better, look at his remixes, amazing stuff (vocals fit his tracks too). heres a review: Although this artist isn't very famous in Lithuania but his talent is very widely acclaimed abroad. He has made a whole musical revolution. The debut album of this mysterious German called Far Away Trains Passing By (City Centre Offices, 2001) was named as the best work of the year instantly. This same thing happened in the 2003. It is natural as the music of Ulrich Schnauss isn't restricted to listener's age - it is a computer symphony which gives listener wings to fly. A never heard before form of acoustic music fused with the shadows of past melancholy and pretty obvious, simple beats. It remains inside for a long time. Ulrich Schnauss does not try to surprise us with some laptop technologies. He does it with his notes and with the spectrum of acoustic colours. It is a vivid sun which is shining for those who are looking at it. ...prefect from the very first to the very last moment... The Best Album Of The Year So Far. Rating: 10/10 |

i was all set to see him two weeks ago opening for M83, but the bastard went and broke his hand thus canceling his appearance. i was quite excited to see what he did with his work in a live setting. i'm also quite taken with M83, but man they blew chunks live. not one live synth player, not one live back-up vocalist. all synths and voices not of the main singer were on ADAT. weak. |

i know that some people have criticized ulrich schnauss for relying too much on prerecorded stuff live, but i was very dissapointed about the cancelled tour. i prefer fatpb, but asip has some unbelievably great tracks... his slowdive cover ("crazy for you") is fantastic, also. track it down! |
