I dont know but to me it just seems like there are so many
better labels. They used to be top notch IMO but they have
decreased the quality of releases.

Now we have a variety of other labels with many releases.

What do you think?

what? i dont understand. I made a perfectly valid opinion. I
am pretty sure that we are still allowed to have opinions
correct?

i think they are doing an important introspective work
through their origins (the begging of it ALL: IDM,
electronica)... maybe they are not gonna win a lot of money
(and i dont like the stuff they are releasing at all), but
they are doing an essencial historic tasc (as the first
cultural recopilators in s.XVIII), imo, and that will make
the lost IDM movement stronger and better...

i know thats a shitty explanation, as actually i dont have
enough english resources to make it better, but i hope the
essencial meaning of what i think would be understandable.

Man, if the music isn't up to scratch, then don't layer it
with all this silly, silly poo. Kick them to the kerb, knee
grow.

"the lost IDM movement"..?

what are you on about? there is no "IDM movement" to be
lost.

ok, i dont belive in all that IDM shit, i just think that
all that crap they are releasing is just a personal
investigation about who they are, where they come and where
are they going.

dont be absolut please.

oh they should certainly release what they like, I mean,
what's the point otherwise? they're hardly going to rack in
the money with a quick hit or two.

I haven't heard any release from them I liked, up til now.
but that's my problem, not theirs.

I dont expect it to be steller. With only 2 tracks there
will not be much replay value. But i wont know forsure until
i heard it

i just think you (and probably a growing number of people)
don't like what they release now

i really don't think they put out less good releases, that's
just nonsense if you have some hairs in you ears

there is a lot of the recent stuff that is not your tipical
'IDM" (wathever that means) but it's not bad because you
don't like it, i don't like all of it neither + there's
stuff like The Bug + Anette, which i don't really like for
listening purpose (contrary to pressure) but mixed (like
cylob mixed it yesterday) with more jungly/fast stuff it
wazs juyst amazing dancing music.

may i ask you what stuff they released you found top notch?

Come on, rephlex is the best label.
They offer the most robust, pan cultural electronic vibes
available.

but that doesn't mean they are shit, or that Rephlex
releases rubbish. It just means you don't personally find
anything in the music.

i dont associate 808State with rephlex in the least bit
outside of the credit they deserve for the reissues.

rephlex is what keeps me interested in this type of music. I
really don't like warp releases.

and why is it that when rephlex released a couple of
dancehall albums, soon after warpmart had tons of dancehall.
and when rephlex released grime. soon after warpmart had
tons of grime whitelabels and stuff.
