I will soon be buying a BMX - however, I don't know the
going rate for a decent bike, or, in fact, what are good
brands or ANYTHING! So, if anyone could be of assistance,
that would be Awesomme.

i have a car, but i've wanted a bmx for years. just for
nippin about the city on. i'd be quicker in one of those
here than in my fuckin car.

i'd say for about 400 quid, you could geta cracker.

try buying a magazine on bmx bikes. you'll get a bunch of
stockists there.

I was hoping to spend £300 -- I mean, that is quite a lot
of money! Just for a small bike with 4 pegs!

no, that should be enough for something good. i was just
saying, you could get a really, really nice one for £400.

by the way, my girlfriend thinks you are by far the best
user on this board, purely cos your name is marlowe.
shes into literature, you see.

Tell your girlfriend that she is by the far the best
partner-of-an-Xltronic-user :D

I am really excited to be getting a BMX - already, I am
scoping out rails and jumps to be practicing on! :)

try getting a shit bike at first for practicing, when you
get good you'll want to be noticed on a better bike, try
somethign like mongoose, gt, or huffy for starters though
