I'm curious. Personally, i can eat crisps and talk bollocks a lot more easily, but i'm mainly concerned with things you actually want to do when you are sober. Your thoughts, people. |

I mix better as I'm less worried what two tunes together would sound great. I generally mix anything anyway but when pissed I just grab anything and mix it. I don't make a concious choice. 100% hit rate so far :D |

actually i'd say that sometimes when i'm a confident drunk, i can move in a pretty fluid fashion... like have every movement flow into the next perfectly... always on the verge of falling on my face but never quite... |

Basically i was wondering whether alcohol is an anti-creative drug for anyone else. Yes, it can let you interact socially a lot more easily, especially if the other person you are, uh, "interacting" with is also pissed. And before anyone else says the "S-word", yes, sex is a lot easier to fall into when you are drunk. But how many people can actually motivate themselves to do something creatively constructive when pissed? It's hard for me, anyway. |

depends how drunk... and really, ddon't you suppose that socialization is just another form of creativity... sometimes i sense an "artfullness" and sincerity to my manner when i have conversation with friends when i am drunk... it's rare, but i do think it happens... and it is valuable in the same manner i think... at least that's what i'm saying here... but really the mairwuan' is much better for ideas... execution often requires a lack of either substance |
