" think of it as game devs pushing out all the final (static) objects (etc...textures, sounds,what not, stuff that won't change in the final gold code). they push out all this stuff, then when game time comes, they can dish out the rest and the unlock "key" (for better words) and bam, you got the game. without xxxxxx people hammering their servers. simple but basically what it does |

start up Steam, go to the "Play Games" menu and double-click on "Half-Life 2". you'll get the option to start the download. you might need to try a few times over a few hours before a place in line comes free, though. |

DOOM 3 should last you around about 25 hours of gameplay when i got my PC, i played it pretty much non-stop and it was around about that long |

Has anyone else played the leaked version? It really gets you hyped for the proper thing. The fact I enjoyed a clearly nowhere near finished game so much more than that one that was released the other month that was a 3rd in a line of games that were Doom filled is saying something. |
