just a half hour ago, i was watching two deer over in the
woods... when they see you, they just sort of freeze and
wait for you to do something. not the best natural defense
mechanism if you ask me...

it is when most of your natural predators react to
movement.

trying to run away even though those predators are faster
might then be not such a good move.

nice, and a japanese singer as well :)

i'll listen to them tonight and see if the album is worth
purchasing.

the amount of music i get into from this message board is
rediculous!

thats not a bad thing of course... well, for my wallet
maybe...

oh... well, that's a very good explanation. i didn't
really give it much thought - i'm quite tired at the moment.

*bump*

for anyone that's interested, it's tonight.

i may even listen myself - i've only heard the track
milkman on tolstoyed's recommendation. could be
interesting though. always worth hearing something new on
peel's show.

i ordered the 'milk man' album on the strength of the mp3's
i heard, looking forward to hearing them tonight and getting
the album tomorrow. I'm surprised I never heard of them
before, its VERY rare I get to hear a rock band these days
that is doing anything interesting and not generic.

since i can listen to this only via internet, does anyone
know if there's only this standard stream...i mean the
quality doesn't seem too good - actually some songs sound
cool and some don't (could be they're old)?

i'll record this if something doesn't go wrong...

peel

deerhoof are on tomorrow, there is a mistake somewhere on
the website that says tonight. i stopped up to listen to it
too :)

peel plays anything really, nothing mainstream, just great
varied music.

"A balance between things that you know people will like and
things that you think people will like."

that's perhaps the least appealing radio slogan i've ever
heard.

no, i have no idea, I just heard him say the programme
probably wasn't going to happen then I switched it off. They
don't have technical difficulties when they are playing boy
bands in the day time.
