..it was already known they were going to release the first
two series in november - now it would seem they're releasing
the first three series in one go, all released on the
23rd of november.

and this time, you can actually see something..

series 1 & 2 @ playUSA

series 3 @ playUSA

thankfully, there fucking expensive, so you can buy the
whole thing in one credit-card-crippling go:

gah

nice to see there seem to be a lot of extras on there.

no news of the region 2 versions at the moment.

Wow. I've been waiting for that. I wonder why it took them
so long?

Anyway, if this only gets released in USA it might be reason
enough for me to get a region-free dvd-player. But really I
just hope they bring it here to.

The box and cover looks terrible though. :-/
But it's the episodes that really count. :D
Lots of extras is good too!

region 2 sets.

i guess the dvd's are worth the $ just for the extra
material!
the ugly packaging fits the era (early 90's) nicely ;)

it wasn't released till now because they were bickering over
the money/roalities issues.......

well, they're releasing "Frasier" sets here, so why not
"Seinfeld".

Seinfeld has been making mega-bucks on syndication for ages,
so I gues there was no need to rush. And there were problems
negotiating who was getting paid what. Can't wait for those
salt and pepper shakers!

..and they've showed up on the English play.com, so that
should be the region 2 releases.

season 1 & 2

season 3

same price as the region 1 version, no mention of extras but
they should be the same.

important detail: the region 2 sets come out on the 1st of
november, the region 1 sets three weeks later, if all the
releasedates are correct.

exactly, it's nice to have all the episodes and all the cool
extras. i bought seasons 1.2.3 and i'll definitely buy 4 and
the rest. especially, cuz here in the UK , Paramount comedy
always mess up with Seinfeld episodes. for examples they
just finished showing 6th season and instead of going to
season 7, they went back to season 5 :-O idiots...
