Well I have time on my hands, money in my pocket adn have just realised the summer might pass me by without a holiday. The last 7 years i have spent them with my ex but that is all in the past. I would love to go to spain but need some pointers for where is good. Nacmat any idea what Alcudia or Blanes is like? |

canary islands but thats cos my family are from there places I like: costa brava (in catalunya) cadiz (only problem too windy, but beautiful beaches) baleares (you know mallorca, menorca, ibiza...) |

canary island hey? I'll check that out. I had not really considered them. Cheers for the tip Catman. I am off to Mallorca at the end of September to see my mate who lives there, apparently he is a famous dancer thesedays. I'll report back on his gayboy antics. |

Rather than Lanzarote fly to Tenerefe and then get a ferry from Los Christanos to Gomera. It is an amazing little island and there is a whistling language that the locals use to speak to each other across the valleys. It is also the location of the "secret" recording studio that Bjork makes reference to, so you will be in good company. It is cheap and compleatly unspoiled unlike the other Canary Islands. I used to live in Tenerefe and it is OK for a week if you like drunk girls from Manchester! |
