PETA is so fucking stupid and anyone a part of it, sorry
for just to randomly being saying this but im watching this
thing on tv, about it. and just went to there website..
there trying to compare the way nazis treated jews to the
way we treat animals.. Penn and Teller = bullshit, are doing
a special on it.. its quite hilarious how stupid some people
are

I do think it's kinda stupid how people get so freaked out
about the cruelty to animals... yes it's bad, but do these
people not notice how cruel PEOPLE are treated in many
places in the world?

to me it almost seems like a slap in the face to all those
people who are being tortured and mistreated in the world
that all these animal rights organizations actually exist...

yeah that's it. don't try to solve any problem in the world
unless you're solving ALL of them at the same time.

exactly, i find that argument so stupid: there's bad stuff
going on in the world i cant do anything about so i wont do
anything about stuff i can do something about

that's exactly what i think; why the hell can't these animal
lovers see that some people are being treated just as bad.
silly.

what kind of reasoning is that? that really baffles me.

plus that animals do not have the power to take
responsibility over their own situation, which places the
responsibility firmly in our court.

why can't people do something about the wrongs being done to
people?

I'm not saying that I think it's fine to kill off animals or
whatever, I'm just saying that if I have money to donate,
it's going to Amnesty International or something...

well if you compare it to famine and war there's little you
can do about it from your home. taking some kind of action
is better then just giving money. in any case it shouldnt be
an argument to not do anything
im against most peta like forms of actions btw, you shouldnt
fight vionlence with violence

PETA has some good points. i don't think there is a need for
fur anymore. some animal cruelty could be avoided. i live in
texas where its legal to screw animals. but you can go to
jail for booty sex with a human.

way.

I agree with gack. but, still, we're killing animals and
some animals are destined to certain exstinction because of
the way we are treating them and their habitats. people
aren't, at least not in the near future.

peta is unbearable stupid, being a vegetarian is a nice
thing you do not need any organization for. fuck ideology. i
am not interested in what other people eat or wear. this is
just a personal thing.

When people are being mistreated around the world, it's
because their governing body and their political views.

When animals are mistreated around the world, it's because
we want to digest their muscle tissue or suck their tits.

Yep, I got into a huge row with my ex over the fact that
governments shouldn't give money to abused animal charities
whilst there are children being abused in need of help.

Unless it has a direct affect on our
foodchain/ecosystem/survival, it is fairly secondary IMO.
Ensuring a pet dog (which would not exist if we didn't keep
them, ultimately for our entertainment/enjoyment) is not
abused is nowhere near as important as preventing cruelty to
human beings.

Don't get me wrong- I don't condone animal cruelty in the
slighest. I just think we should look after our own first
and foremost.

the goal of PETA is to make people aware of animal cruelty
and Raintube helped them with it

Anyone see Baraka? I love the part where they
juxtapose the chicken factory with the time-lapse rush hour
pedestrian traffic- Brilliant! Shows what a karma sucking
hell-hole industrail farming is, but I sure love me some
bbq'ed chicken wings!

It upsets me how animal charities are diverting funds from
humanitarian causes. Lets deal with the animals after we
have looked after all the people.
