warpmart doubts and comments

I think warp should have a purchase history for every
account, so I see how many cds I ve bought, and the status
of my orders

I think warpmart should have a way to browse all the albums
they have in stock with the chance of browsing them by
prize

I have bought 19 cds only from warpmart

if this time they dont give me some extra cd that means that
they dont do that anymore

they could maybe send your purchase history if you ask
them.

dunno 'bout the price thing... not much of a range.

I keep a list of my own purrchase historry in the rreceipt
section of my bank folderr. It's a must forr me now
otherrwise I starrting thinking I'm being stolen frrom. I've
only starrted doing it.

if you have enough money to buy 20 cd in less than a week
you don't deserve to get cd for free

When you say brrowsing them by prrice, what exactly do you
mean? Like on amazon when you can list an arrtists rrecorrds
frrom Cheapest to Most Expensive?

What about your order confirmation e-mails? That's what I
use :)

offline nacmat on 2004-07-25 06:21 [#01285658]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker

I wonder if they would have rather that I did just one order
with the 20 cds (I just bought one more) or instead they
prefer it done in several orders

I ve bought the 20 cds in like 8 diferent orders

which I am sure made me lose some extra pounds

Points: 31271 Status: Lurker | Followup to giginger: #01285657

yeah I use that too

but its easier for example in amazon where you can see all
your purchases in the last month, several months, year or
all of them

It depends how they do the Postage and Packaging. I can't
remember as I haven't ordered for a while. If it's per item
then you're losing nothing. If it's per order then you could
be paying extra.

Oh yes, very much easier.

Play.com has a great order history. Tells you ones you
cancelled as well :D

I know... but I am impulsive and I just buy one thing at 2
hours later I buy another one... I should make a plan or
sumthin

always keep in mind: the free stuff now and then are just
little extras. noone is entitled to them. warpmart is being
nice by just giving away stuff here and there.

in my experience, I mostly got freebies when ordering vinyl.
I have had a freebie with a cd order, once or twice.

I don't need an order history really. I just look at the
records I have.

Before buying a CD you should do 50 situps. This way you'll
have a washboard stomach AND lots of CDs.

well, its just till today I never got an extra cd sampler or
somehting... just stickers

and I had heard that someimtes warp did this extra gifts

I know they dont have to do so, its a gift, but I was just
wondering if maybe after many purchases they take that into
consideration

if you purchase a lot in one go, your chances are probably
higher.

although I've gotten freebies with just one item.

guess it just depends on how they feel.

I just keep all my confirmation e-mails in a tidy little
folder so I can check up

I have an invoices folder, then subfolders for each site I
order off

The dominos pizza one is the fullest so far

you are too late with all your purchases, you should have
bought them when wapmart had the big sale a few months ago

if you ordered all the cd´s at once I bet you would have
got some goodies

most of the cds I bought were like 4 pounds

and many singles were 2 or 3 pounds

so that means the sales were still valid for some of the
releases

I bought only those cds that were cheap... in most of the
cases, plus some new albums like !!! or ooo

well, a lot if not most of their freebies seem to be 12"s,
so yes, that would make your chances better when ordering
vinyl.

in the past 9 months i have ordered 55 cds and 2 records in
8 seperate orders. 3 have been pre-orders (ultravisitor,
venus no 17 and spokes) where 2 have had bonuses relating to
the pre-ordered items. the pre-orders have arrived either
before the release date or on the release date. on every
order i have received some sort of promotion card or mini
poster. on about 5 of the orders i've received promo cds or
vinyls. i've never had anything that i've ordered be out of
stock.

the only problem i ever had was i recently got a hecker cd
with my venus no 17 pre-order. well, i wanted the remix cd
but they sent me a different hecker cd with a very similar
cover [ mego14 as opposed to mego24 ] i didn't even bother to complain
because i was planning on getting that cd eventually and
they've been so good to me in the past.

my only other complaint is the prices are high, but that's
because the dollar is currently worth turds.

forced exposure since it's based in the usa. much much much
cheaper. i only order from warp for pre orders and if i
can't find it anywhere else.
