Protect that back of yours. Your too young to be throwing
it out or messing up a disc or something. Night-Owl hours,
sounds pretty cool. It prolly will pay decent too. I hope
it all works out.

a night job would be interesting for a while. except for the
95% of the people around you being asleep when you are up. i
hope you have some friends that work the same time as you.

holy feck!

what a shit job, persistent unloading and loading heavy
boxes, fork lifts speeding all over the place.

we opened this freight from china, my god there were exotic
spiders and moths and even a gecko that survived 4 weeks in
there! i named it gwely, thats a good gecko name right?

i thought so.

I work nights too, but 2nd shift not 3rd. I gotta say it's
totally ruined the little social life that I have at home
(as opposed to at college). I work 3:30 pm to midnight
sun-thurs, and I never feel like doing anything social in
the mornings, so that leaves two days a week when I do
anything at all. It's kind of lame, but the summer's close
to being over and the money's good.

Next summer why don't you stay in Vancouver and work testing
games for Electronic Arts, they usually take applications
around the end of May.

I got a summer job too. Working in the Office at the
Crematorium... 9 till 5 (nice :-/) and highly boring. £7.06
an hour's good for my first ever job though!!

...and no, i'm not the one who burns the dead people.

I used to be first mate on a charter fishing boat named the
Master Baiter.

And before any you anal twitches says it, I already know-

job.

My worst summer job ever was picking tomatoes, if anyone
ever offers you this position, run, run to the hills and
mooch money from your parents.

Director of Stiff Scorching

On Friday you should turn up in Shorts, T-Shirt and bare
feet. Then claim thet you thought that was what "dressing
down" is.

my worst job ever was as a janitor at a butcher shop.

i'd always have little bits of bleached meat in my hair at
the end of my shift.

I'm doing admin work at the local college. Its horribly
antisocial and boring but its easy and well paid... bangin
on a keyboard 24 hours a day now instead of just the
evenings and weekends :s

Heh, it's hard to name a job that isn't boring and
antisocial. Maybe superhero. I work part time as a car park
attendant... it's weird, the job kinda brainwashes you to
hate every single person you meet.

tube.

$7.50 an hour is well-paid? I made more than that abored
the good ship Master Baiter!

I make £4.52 an hour, increasing to £5.00 in a month or
so. I know it's a bit shitty, but for a 17 year old who
could be working at burger king, i count my blessings. I
might have to repeat the same "hi, can i help?" about a
million times a day, but at least i don't smell like beef
fat.

Is there any way for you to steal from the till? I find
stealing an excellent way to augment one's income.

i work nights kind of (5 pm to 3 am 4 days a week) and i
think it's great. it's so cool to have the entire world to
yourself for a couple of hours at the end of the day, plus 3
days off/week is kick ass.
