anyhoot.... the new beastie boys To The 5 Boroughs,
is much more rhyme and beats and rapping then there old
stuff...but still keeping it real like they always do.

and the new Slipknot vol 3 subliminal verses even
though this is not their third album but there 4th they call
it vol 3 due to the fact that they were with a different
recording company and they dont acknowledge that alum
Hate.kill---blah. This new album is fucking awesome, its
screaming--singing-screaming and of course kick ass sound.
It's much calmer you IDM soft heads might like it if the
'ardcore music doesnt do it for ya...but still SLIKNOT!

Outpost Transmission was pretty damn good!! Sure the vocal
songs sucked ass (except for 606 w/ Simian giving them a
hand), but there were a few songs that were quality. Go
back and listen to 606, Chopsumwong, and Dissadis! Those
songs alone made Outpost Transmission anything but weak.

I can't believe anyone can actually be happy about a "new"
Slipknot album.

not anyone over 13 years of age, at least.

r40f recommends the following 2004 releases:

Elysian Fields - Dreams That Breathe Your Name
Fantomas - Delirium Cordia
Secret Chiefs 3 - Book Of Horizons
Skinny Puppy - The Greater Wrong Of The Right
Sonic Youth - Sonic Nurse

also, i am eagerly anticipating the new albums by Neurosis,
Venomous Concept, and the Melvins.

r40f > yep, i second Fantômas and Sonic Youth!! : )

haven't heard the other ones, i'm quite interested in Secret
Chiefs 3 but there are already too much stuff to check
out... and i don't know at all Elysian Fields.

i got the new Pan Sonic a few days ago too, haven't got the
time to listen to it in its entirety but so far it sounds
good!

i ordered the new Steve Roden too, probably most of you
haven't heard of him but if you like scary/weird/minimal
(not idm!!) stuff you can download a track here:
*

there is also a new PJ Harvey, if there wasn't so much stuff
out already i would have bought it °_°

and a new-ish OOIOO (Kila Kila Kila, released march i think
but i only discovered lately that it was out), very good.
"travelling" music.

as well as a new-ish eX-Girl released in april, Endangered
Species, which totally kicks ass (E-Sa-Ya being one of my
favourite album introductions ever).

and a new (actually her first in solo) Miss Kittin if you're
interested.

and probably lots of other stuff too.

good times for music (not so good for sparing money though)!
^^

for sc3 info and all their albums go to: webofmimicry.com

i highly recommend Book M - i can almost guarantee you'll
love this if you like book of horizons - and also Second
Grand Constitution. i also have their first album, but it
is very different sounding, and i don't like it as much,
personally.

then for something completely different from sc3,
elysian fields information. very different and brilliant
songwriting - beautiful and romantic.
