Thanks :) It's what I did a while back. Spastics at my work/the inland revenue absolutely raped me (I got a monthly pay check with under half the normal amount on) the same month 1/4 years rent was due! I calmly explained the situation to them, even offered to come in and show them payslips/letter from my company if they wanted and they said that wasn't neccessary, they gave me a temporary increase to my overdraft for the 5/6 days neccessary (rent was due one week before payday) When I worked out what I'd been charged for the pleasure (with a view to getting it back via small claims court from my company if it was a sum worth bothering about), it came to something like £2.00 I shudder to think what I would have paid had I gone to a loans company and requested a similar amount (they don't like them being really short term- and sting you for trying to pay back debts early to avoid interest). |

Drummond, you are a complete asshole. I was merely asking for advice. I know i fucked up, i dont need people telling me one way or the other that i did. This is one of those life lessons that taught me something. Fuck, no ones perfect. You should know this. I realize an error on my part was made. I was simpily asking for pointers for making quick cash. I am not talking lottery here i was being realistic. I had a good talk today with some friends and although the situation appears bleak, there are a couple of options. They understood where i was coming from. It's fucking called helping a brother when he's down. I am down at the moment. My pals are offering support and ideas. That is all i wanted this thread to be.... i-d-e-a-s. Not some pity party. That doesnt pay bills. As for me having an internet connection..... way to fucking make a halfassed assumption. You think i pay for this? No. I dont pay rent because i cant. I am unemployed as of last week but i am waiting on an apprenticeship/preapprenticeship for HVAC which is what i went to school for. And lastly just because you can fucking handle your account and are oh so fucking wise with your money doesnt mean we all had your experiences and have learned what you learned. I am 100% completely sorry that i had no one teach me that shit. I learn as i go. "life" isnt some highschool/college course that people get to take. I took shit like "enviromental science" and "comic spirit" which are courses that really dont apply in life but are credits i needed to graduate. ***continued*** Some guy with ideas and wants to make things work. I love my friends i love my family and i usually seem to have it pretty good. Everyone that is human has downtime. It happens. We need to be supportive of people that are down because pointless critisizm helps nothing. This is going to be one superior challenge but i am going to take a stab at it. I'll keep you guys posted just in case one of you find yourself here. Maybe if what i do works, it can help another. :) |

its a middle man for your checking account, etc whatever. When i buy something off ebay or when im sending someone money, i send it to their paypal (email) address. Paypal takes the money from my credit card or checking acct and deposites it into the receiver's account. It's basically whta everyone uses to send money. You should try signing up for one, wink wink |

I am not really close with my family. I still communicate with my sister and her family. They seriously dont have like $20 to spare. There are a number of my friends that are 100% strapped for cash. They have jobs where they dont make the most and they are living on there own trying to pay rent and buy food. My mother knows about this because i asked to borrow $20 for gas. I was on empty and i had to go to a local school to do testing for an apprenticeship. She asked what happened to my money and i carefully explained what happened. She explained how she is not going to help me. I completely understand. |
