when i first got swarm & dither i thought it was patchy but
track by track i've grown to realise the mastery.
favourite track?: "carrot" for me

It's probably because of the hugely unappealing artist name.

yeah, carrot was obvious cause is one of the most powerfull
songs ive heard in years, but every track is really good in
any sense. i love how his control of the sounds in the
space, always in progression, never static. and also his
sense of humor... sometimes a bit too "abstract", not
concret, for me...

it says in the sleeve notes for "free zweite" or whatever
track 11 is called that it was improvised "live to
glass"...what does that mean exactly

forcedexposure?

I guess it means he improvised it and that recording was
pressed, without modifying it in any way.

Swarm and Dither is excellent, as is his stuff as Keith
Fullterton Whitman.

I have not heard anything by this artist. What style of
music is it? What label(s) is it on?

keith fullerton whitman is near to landscape music, i
think...
hrvatski is something i would call "atmospherical d'n'b",
where the beats are only another source/sound/feeling to the
service the landscapes he wants to create, under the emotion
he wants to transmit... (thats actually a horrible
explanation... srry!)

hrvatski's 'swarm and dither' was released on
mu

other works in the same label of godspeed, krank or
similar...

visit the reckankomplex page for more info.

yes, keith wrote a lot of things for the FE site.

a great, long-lost track is blitter vs. hrvatski - nuclear
cats get new home. on out of print comp from lucky kitchen
called blip, bleep: soundtracks to imaginary video games.
really amazing.

if i had to describe the style of swarm and dither, it's
like...
music in it's foetal stage, you can literally hear him
crafting rhythms and atmospherics out of organic sound.
his stuff as keith f w is like ambient crossed with noise,
sort of like fennesz.

Swarm and Dither intimidates the shit out of my, good stuff.
I don't see him mentioned here enough. And I concur with
everything Melack said.

Corcoran is an incredible song. Such a simple thing to
timeshift/timenudge the left/right feeds but man it's done
simply and very solid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

carrot is top notch.
Oiseaux 96-98 is a bangin' album.

Swarm n dither is great too.
