Woke up about 4.30am..ish, went to the bathroom....sat there doing the business, and all of a sudden I hear this massive BANG!!!!! Some twats driving an old Ford Escort had driven into a neighbours car in the street, hit it back 2 metres, and drove off!! Both me and other neighbour saw the car as it sped off. The car that was damaged belonged to new neighbours 2 doors down from me, and their car is a relatively newish Honda, and the front headlight area/wing is all smashed up big time. There was glass and twisted metal and plastic everywhere, and their car is now leaking oil. I went out into the street, and my other neighbour who also saw it was out there by now, and we had to knock on the door of these people and tell them what had happened. The couldn't believe it, they were stunned. They phoned the police and gave them our description of the car that did the hit and run damage, and I just couldnt believe what the police told them. They were told that they'd either send a police car up in 30 minutes, or it'd be after 10.00am!?!??! This was like 4:45am. What kind of crap service is that? My neighbour told me to get my car out of my garage (I park mine off the road at night), and we drove around the estate, cos we figured the extent of the damage, the other car couldn't have gotten far. We traced a trail of debris for about half a mile, and then drove around some of the more notorious parts of town, but didn't see anything! We were like Starsky and Hutch he said - hehehe! What complete fuckers, to do something like that. They must have been drunk/ and or joyriders......what a shitty start to a Sunday morning for my neighbours!! :( |

Hey this was just like the incident that happened outside my house a month ago!!! I rushed outside to check it out because my car was on the street, I was worried that someone plowed into my car. But this van hit my neighbours car as my neighbour was turning into their drive way, and the road was wet too. Bizzare accident! Heavy front end damage too! this van wasnt goin' no place! ;) |
