Right on, ''What's Come Inside You'' is so impossibly good.
Freescha has been my favorite emitter of electronic music
music since Archrival brought ''Slower than Church Music''
to my attention in early 2002. God bless 'im.

one of the guys from Freesha works at this record shop in
Sherman Oaks (Los Angeles) and he won't tell you that its
him if you buy his records there. Freesha records where at
that shop before they were anywhere, heheh ehhe.

that's kind of normal isn't it? i know some people who make
music and are selling records in shops as well, and they
never say it's their music either...it's better that way i
think :)

i almost cried. i was considering telling him there must
have been some mistake and there was no cd for the sleeve.
but i didnt....and now i have to pay £15 like everyone
else....

Most obvious comparison is BOC... a lot of slow, hip-hop
tinged beats, shrouded in nice, pleasant warm synths (or
cold, when the situation calls for it). But they generate
their own moody soundscapes... it's tough to put it into
text, but they use similar sounds, but create different
feels and tones. And there's a lot of them, they're
alternately playful, scary, cute, eerie, foreboding,
positive... everything you need.

It's probably oversimplifying things, but if you like BOC,
you'll probably like Freescha. They're undeniably very
similar. Kind of like Marumari, too. And they've also
collaborated with Casino vs Japan. So if you like them,
you're in good shape. I think Freescha are signifigantly
better than all of these artists, though.

They're like Casino Versus Japan but better in my opinion/

Haven't heard the first two releases, but "What's Come
Inside Of You?" is definitely better than "Slower Than
Church Music" in my opinion. Certainly a must buy.

one more opinion...

the tracks on the split cd are not as fully developed as
"what's come inside of you." the uninitiated should begin
with the album...

What's Come Inside of You is the best, and my second
favorite is the Lift EP. Kids Fill the Floor and Slower than
Church Music would be almost everybody else's best release,
so don't ignore them either. They're unfairly gewd.
