umm i started doing some discog adding and fixing. how do
you stick these topics to the top. haven't figured that out
yet.

corrected some info on the early Black Dog stuff and am in
the process of adding the 1st Brothomstates EP. be doing
some AFX editing too here. is anyone especially interested
in seeing an artist completed? i don't know all the much
about Vsnares but it looks like his section needs some work.

A couple things I have that aren't in the discog:
nmb allstars - bolton 8
venetian snares - songs about my cats (CD)

I don't have scans though

discogs pisses me off, roygbivcore is right, you try to help
them out and they just throw it back in your face, or tell
you the info you have is wrong when you're holding the
actual releases right there in your hands. basically the
mods there seem to know shit about idm.

as far as I know discogs is behind schedule with more stuff

does it really take more than 3 months when you submit a
released to show up?

and what is the difference with the advanced version?

Euh, I assumed he was talking about the xltronic discog, not
discogs.com... being that he's a moderator.

yeah i'm talking about the xltrographies. but one of these
days w/ the proper amount of work done, Discogs will eat a
big steaming handfull of our shit.

Agreed. Maybe XLT-discog, could work as discogs.com, where
WE (the people) are adding releases, and the mods
areaccepting/rejecting them?

I think that if this is to be excellent electronic music
that things that nigel covers and likes should be added.
Shit like doormouse. There is quite a following for that
guy.

I motion to add:

Zod Records (milwaukee based!!! w00t!!)
Addict records

and nigel could cover all of this stuff!

i'll add Zod and Addict, but they will have no release in
them till someone starts adding. you'll have to talk to
Phobe about it going Discogs style, but if you guys what to
send me release info i'll put in what i can. you can get me
at spd@xltronic.com

hey SPD i was flicking through the Aphex Twin discog and saw
that you are missing my CD version of saw2 which has a
different catalogue number and different inner cover art to
all the other saw2 releases. I scanned everything instead of
explaining it to you. They can be found here http://www.luderman.iinet.net.au/saw2/

I bought it in Australia and its missing the tracks Hankie
and Stone In focus.

snares updates?

not just yet on the snares.

as for the SAWII, yeah this is basically the AU issuance of
the regular US Sire version. the discs and art are exactly
the same on our Sire release. i used to have it but i think
i sold it back to the store and got the Warp version
instead. my old one didn't have disc 1, track 4 either.
think the only difference is that there is a small bit of
Aussie info printed into the credits. we'll have to get the
Sire releases in yes. thanks.
