TO EVERYBODY: I am sorry for the artists missing in the list.. but if I add one more, then I have to add everybodys suggestions again... jesus what where you all thinking about last week? we had 7 days to include ceephax or whoever in the list... and its now that we all remember the missing artists?? some may be missing, but god, there are over 180 artists there... just vote please this is being really difficult, so please. and try to make your votes in one post... it drives me crazy cases in which one decides to change his vote... |

My favs are : 1) Venetian Snares 2) Amon Tobin 3) Fennesz 4) Plastikman 5) Pita 6) Gescom 7) Coh 8) Tim Hecker 9) Richard Devine 10) Matmos I wanted to support artists that are sometimes underrated or not as known as they should be (Plastikman, Coh, Tim Hecker, Richard Devine) ; i also wanted to reward artists that have made good stuff for a long time and still make good music (Fennesz, Pita, Gescom, Amon Tobin, Venetian Snares). It has been really difficult for me just to write 10 names cause i like plenty of artists in the list. Sorry for Plastikman, Oval, Nautilis, Hrvatski, Prefuse 73, General Magic, Farmers Manual, Florian Hecker, D'Arcangelo and the others that i forget... I hope some of them will pass the qualifications though... Btw it's only the beginning and i know there will only be one winner, so we will see in a few weeks which music maker deserve the title of "King of IDM". Fuck all those who voted DJ Shadow coz even if this guy is awesome, it will be really anoying if he won the "IDM" championship coz he has nothing to do with IDM nor electronica. =] Good luck Nacmat, you'll be responsible for an important task those days. ;) |
